Abstract

Outpatient¢¥s consciousness for the combined treatment of east-west medicine(CoEW) was surveyed in hospital of oriental medicine, Kyung Hee University Medical Center.
The programs of CoEW were consisted of variable combination of west medicine, east medicine, acupuncture, physiotherapy and clinical pathology. Problems with which patients dose themselves with east medicine and west medicine were side effect(31.1%), distinction of effect(29.8%) and ambiguous administration rule(26.8%).
Most patients were received counseling of medication from oriental medical doctors(65.7%), medical doctors(19.4%) and pharmacists(7.5%).
